Sensa Weight Loss System Review: Best Weight Loss System

What is the Sensa Weight Loss System?

While sometimes referred to as “The Sprinkle Diet,” Sensa is not actually a weight loss diet program at all, but flavored food flakes created from maltodextrin, tricalcium phosphate, carmine, soy and milk that you sprinkle on your food as you would any other seasoning. A variety of flavors exist including: cheddar cheese, onion, horseradish, ranch, taco, parmesan cheese, cocoa, spearmint, banana strawberry, raspberry and malt. Each of these flakey toppings is free of calories, sugar, sodium and gluten.

Sensa was designed to activate your sense of smell to fool your brain and stomach into thinking you are full. Dr. Alan Hirsh, creator of Sensa, explains, “The flavors may make people focus on the sensory characteristics of food – smell and taste – and can actually cause a change in eating habits and behavior.”

Is there an evidence to back up Sensa’s claims?

Sensa asserts that its evidence is based upon “clinical study” (not to be confused with clinical trial — the standard for scientific research) performed by Sensa creator Dr. Hirsch. These studies have never been corroborated nor published in a peer-reviewed medical journal.

Conclusion

With no scientific evidence or a recommended weight loss diet or fitness guidelines, Weight Loss Guide.com does not recommend the use of the Sensa Weight Loss System. It seems that other nutrition experts have come to the same conclusion. Weight loss diet and fitness expert, Pamela Peeke, MD. explains, “It oversimplifies the complex physiology and psychology associated with appetite there is nothing unique about the list of ingredients.”
